Over the summer, Seattle artist Ren Lis will create a knock-down gallery.  This gallery will be used to engage the everyday passerby. 

The standard bounds of a gallery (four walls and a door) insulate the creative space inside from the unadventurous or time-crunched people passing by.  This new style of gallery removes one wall (and the door).  By removing the liminal space you're already in the gallery without having to do more than pass by.  It is our hope that what you see will compel you to pause and meditate on the fruits of creation, if even for just a moment.
